The Roost opens on College Drive downtown

New restaurant serves ribs; will be attached to theater
Alysha Carmien and Mike Gerhardt prepare meals June 20 in the kitchen of The Roost, 128 E. College Drive. The new restaurant serves mid-range-priced American food, including prime rib and barbecue ribs.
The Roost is connected directly to Animas City Theatre next door. In the near future, service will be provided from one business to the other.
The Roost, 128 E. College Drive, is in the space previously occupied by 6512’ and Randy’s. Owner Chris Redding said it is the only open bar in Durango in which patrons at the bar do not directly face the bottles.
