Noise, traffic from 2 new hotels on East Second Avenue concern neighbors

Construction expected to start within weeks

Two six-story hotels are planned for East Second Avenue between east Fourth and east Fifth streets. The hotels are expected to bring more traffic and noise to the area. A restaurant previously expected to be part of the project has been eliminated.
Two hotels will be built on East Second Avenue between Fourth and Fifth streets. The hotels project was originally approved in 2014.
