Durango High School shot putter Lindsay Chamblee lets loose a throw during last weekend’s Mickey Dunn Invitational at Stocker Stadium in Grand Junction. Durango track and field is scheduled to host Bayfield and Ignacio in a  meet at 2 p.m. today at DHS Stadium, weather permitting. The National Weather Service on Wednesday afternoon, predicted a 70 percent chance of precipitation today, 1 to 3 inches of snow, a high of 37 degrees and and wind gusts up to 30 miles per hour. DHS athletic director Sheldon Keresey said Wednesday he would know early today whether or not the Demons’ first home meet this season will take place. Durango will host an invitational April 18, as well.
