Trail-use plan finalized for Rico-West Dolores

Motorized access cut at Bear and Burnett Creek trails
Horse Creek is a popular trail near Rico. As part of a travel-management proposal, the trail will be nonmotorized beyond the road.
The Burnett Trail that accesses Rico is now closed to motorized vehicles under a new trail plan being implemented by the San Juan National Forest.
The Calico Trail will remain open for single-track motorized use under a San Juan National Forest trail decision.
