Offbeat Family Farm moved into Aztec, New Mexico, 10 years ago and has been brightening the Durango Farmers Market since 2014.
“I like growing a lot of things that are colorful,” said Offbeat’s Pauline Pao.
The farm sells vegetables, cut flowers and herbs.
“We’re kind of known for the flowers, just because it’s sort of an impact, you know?” Pao said. “I like growing different varieties of stuff, and this market’s good for people growing a lot of different varieties of stuff.”
She said people at the Durango market know a lot about the range of items available there.
“People get a sense of there’s other things besides orange carrots, for example,” Pao said.
