Photos: Durango School District celebrates Thanksgiving with 4,000 dinners

Durango School District 9-R will serve about 4,000 dinners to students and families throughout the district this week in celebration of Thanksgiving. The Florida Mesa kitchen cooked 20 turkeys, 200 pounds of Farm-to-School potatoes and about 150 pounds of vegetables and also served 800 rolls, 810 cups of pumpkin pudding and 500 cups of cranberries.
