Abdoulaye Camara, center, of Lulea, Sweden, teaches a dance from his native West Africa on Wednesday afternoon at Durango Dance. Instructor Regan Thaw said African dance classes are held at 6 p.m. every Wednesday at Durango Dance and always feature live drumming. Thaw said African dance is different every time because it changes as the drummers change the rhythm, and its a very good cardiovascular workout. Its the hardest thing I do, Thaw said.
