City Council hopefuls offer ideas to solve budget woes
How to vote

Ballots will be mailed to active registered voters living in Durango city limits on March 16. Anyone who voted in the November 2018 election who hasn’t moved is considered an active registered voter.
Completed ballots must be received, not just mailed, by 7 p.m. April 2 in the Durango City Clerk’s Office.
Ballots can be delivered to one of three locations:
City Clerk’s Office at Durango City Hall, 949 East Second Ave., from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The La Plata County Clerk and Recorder’s Office, 98 Everett St., Suite C, 24-hour drop off.La Plata County Administration Building, 1101 East Second Ave., 24-hour drop off. In-person voting will be available at the City Clerk’s Office from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, from March 18 to April 1. Ballots may also be cast from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on election day, April 2.
