The Center for Mindful Self-Compassion will offer an eight-week workshop, “Mindful Self-Compassion and Inner Resilience: Tame Your Inner Critic and Find Peace and Balance,” from 5:30 to 8 p.m. beginning Wednesday and running every Wednesday through May 22 at The Smiley Building, No. 105.
Myah (Myoung) Lee, certified mindfulness teacher, will teach students to practice self-compassion in daily life, understand the empirically supported benefits of self-compassion, motivate yourself with kindness instead of criticism, handle difficult emotions with greater ease, transform challenging relationships, manage caregiver fatigue and practice the art of savoring self-appreciation.
Registration fees are on a sliding scale of $250 to $350, with personalized payment plans available.
