If you have health questions and dont know whom to call, the latest joint project of The Durango Herald and the Cortez Journal may be able to help.
People who subscribe for delivery of The Durango Herald will receive in their newspapers today a 96-page directory of the areas medical services.
The consumer guide is a complete listing of medical providers and services in the area and includes organizations in the medical marijuana industry, companies that advertise in the local phone book and those that do not, said Sharon Hermes, Herald general manager.
The directory includes four feature stories on senior living, meal planning for people with dietary restrictions, the latest style of running shoes to hit store shelves and a do-it-yourself fitness assessment.
The guide is not included in copies of the newspaper obtained from news racks, but extra copies of the directory are available at The Durango Herald and the Cortez Journal offices during regular business hours Monday through Friday. The information also is available at durangoherald.com.
