A national-caliber Fort Lewis College team hosts Squawker Road Classic in Durango

Fort Lewis College cyclist Tristen Musselman is the leader of a deep and talented Skyhawks women’s team this year. She will be in action this weekend at the Squawker Road Classic in Durango.
James Hilyer of Fort Lewis College, middle, let out a roar as he suffered in the final climb of last year’s USA Cycling Collegiate Road National Championships men’s varsity Division 1 road race. After 66 miles and 5,748 feet of climbing, Hilyer finished fourth to lead the Skyhawks team. He is back to lead the men’s team this year and will race in front of home fans this weekend in the Squawker Road Classic.
