The Creative Economy Commission and The Durango Herald are starting a weekly competition for the community to discover some of the city’s public art pieces. Each Monday, the Herald will run a photo clue.
Find the statue in town, identify the name of the public art piece and submit your entry below.
Deadline is at 5 a.m. Fridays.
Each Friday, a winner will be randomly selected from the entrants who correctly named the piece.
The Creative Economy Commission will award the winner two passes to the Durango Community Recreation Center or a preloaded parking card worth $20.
This week’s clue: Located next to a building entrance, this art piece represents multiple generations. This piece was created by Allan Houser, and joined Durango’s Public Art Collection in 2011.
