Science fun

Bradley Rucker, 13, left, and Trevon Funke, 13, stick as many pencils into a water-filled Baggie as possible before it starts to leak on Thursday during “Fun with Science” at the Lavenia McCoy Public Library in Bayfield. Trevon got 30 pencils in before the bag began to leak. Students were having fun with polymers, different types of plastics, during the after-school science group. Parents interested in the class can call the library to preregister. Bradley is the son of Gail and Brad Rucker, and Trevon is the son of Terri and Don Funke.
