Top 10 IRA Mistakes: How to Avoid IRS Tax Traps will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 20 and Sept. 27.
The cost is $49, and the enrollment deadline is Sept. 13. This course is intended to help owners of IRA, 401(k), 403 (b) and other retirement accounts make informed decisions, avoid costly mistakes and get the maximum benefits from their retirement savings.
The first class will review the current environment of retirement challenges. Participants will receive the book Top 10 IRA Mistakes. The second class will cover the top 10 IRA mistakes and how to avoid IRS tax-traps.

IT firm announces name change
Computer Medics, a local information-technology networking firm serving the Four Corners for the last decade, announces its new corporate name and new business initiatives.
Ryan Bono, owner and CEO, launched Seccuro Group LLC. From the Latin word meaning to assist, Seccuro will still assist with IT infrastructure and networking needs. The business services have been moving away from on-demand support toward proactive maintenance and management, planned project assistance and secure infrastructure design and implementation.
Seccuro also announces new leadership in General Manager Erin Patla. Originally from Australia, Patla has been a resident in the community for nine years. She has more than 15 years of education and professional experience in business and operations management and leadership.
This fall, Seccuro will launch hosted telephony service state of the art Voice over Internet Protocol, or VoIP, solutions coupled with reliable phone service.

Quantified Performance announces the addition of personal trainer and fitness coach Paige Kramer.
Kramer comes to the practice with five years of experience in the fitness industry and more than 10 years of competing in elite athletics.
In 2008, Kramer graduated with honors from the National Personal Training Institute in Lakewood. Her certifications include certified personal trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and CrossFit coach. Kramer has worked at Colorado Athletic Club, CrossFit Denver and currently trains out of CrossFit Durango.
