9-R overrode team’s homecoming queen pick

9-R overrode team’s homecoming queen pick

Im writing today to ask a question about a subject that puzzles me.

How long has the Durango School District 9-R board of education been overriding the football teams pick for homecoming queen?

It was my understanding that each athletic club was represented by whomever it picked. Why was the team told that the board had picked someone else for them this year?

Please find me an answer.
