Computer help offered at Bayfield library
Drop-In Tech Help will be provided from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the library meeting room at the Lavenia McCoy Public Library, 395 Bayfield Center Drive in Bayfield.
Elizabeth vonTauffkirchen will be on hand to help with computer questions. Participants should bring a laptop or tower.

Relationship course for couples offered
Michael Wilkinson and Jill Caritas will present Relationship First Aid a six-week course for couples on Thursdays from Oct. 6 to Nov. 10 in Room 32 of the Smiley Building, 1309 East Third Ave.
Participants will learn how to enhance communication, trust and connection.
Skills and techniques that promote respect, intimacy and clarity will be taught.
A Meet the Instructors reception will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Serving Life Chiropractic, 1040 Main Ave., Suite 2.

Vallecito Nordic Club to meet Wednesday
The Vallecito Nordic Club will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the Eolus Room at the Durango Community Recreation Center, 2700 Main Ave.
The club will discuss plans for the season and is looking for people interested in becoming involved in activities and fundraising events.
Fermented food class to be held Wednesday
Rachel Turiel will teach a class on how to ferment foods from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Durango Natural Foods, 575 East Eighth Ave.
Participants will sample fermented, raw foods and discuss how to make cheese, yogurt, sauerkraut, fermented vegetables, vinegar and more.

Jelly Belly jelly beans to hold event Friday
The Jelly Belly touring bus will visit Durango from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at Fuzziwigs, 600 Main Ave.
Participants will learn more information about the jelly beans and taste new flavors including those in its BeanBoozled line featuring flavors such as skunk spray and pencil shaving. Childrens activities also will be available.
