That is precisely how the U.N. hopes to gain control, if not by treaty, then by willing people who have not educated themselves. These are not mean people, but people who simply have not obtained the facts.
The Migratory Bird Treaty Act of 1918 was a result of the federal government wanting to control bird hunting in the entire United States. That had never been done before, and the courts sided with the states and prevented the federal government from taking control.
So, the federal government made a treaty with Canada and Britain, and then the treaty trumped what the federal courts said was not within the rights of the feds to control.
