Kilt-wearing athletes, highland dancers flock to Aztec Highland Games

The Stubby Shillelaghs will perform original songs and traditional Celtic songs at the festival.
Traditional music and dance will be featured at the festival.
More than 40 vendors are expected to participate in the festival this year.

Saturday9 a.m.: Gates and vendors open, Highland Games, Highland Dance Competition starts.
10:30 a.m.: Truckely Howe.
Noon: Opening ceremonies with Mass Pipe Band, Abbey Brewing and Wines of the San Juan open.
12:30 p.m.: The Stubby Shillelaghs.
2:30 p.m.: Big’ns.
4 p.m.: Patrick Crossing.
6 p.m.: Highland Romance Novel Posing contest winner announcement and Starting Lady Auction.
6:15 p.m.: Athlete awards.
6:30 p.m.: Gates close.
Sunday9 a.m.: Gates and vendors open, Highland Games start.
9:30 a.m.: Kirkin of the Tartan.
10 a.m: Opening Ceremonies with the Mass Pipe Band.
10:30 a.m.: Top o’ the Mornin’.
