Nine-year-old Emma McGuire buries herself up to the waist in a corn pool Saturday while on The Great Pumpkin Patch Express train trip. Among other activities on the Pumpkin Patch trips – a seasonal attraction of the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad – are live music, storytelling, games, a bounce house, temporary tattoos and trick-or-treating. The Pumpkin Patch trains depart at 10 a.m. today and Oct. 22 and 23, with an additional 1:15 p.m. train Oct. 22. Emma is the daughter of Michael and Michelle McGuire.
