Bayfield wrestling is eager for breakthrough season

Wolverines hopeful to get eight wrestlers to state
Bayfield’s John Foutz opted to move up to the 220-pound weight class this year after he finished fourth at 195 pounds last season. He believes he can improve on his performance last season and is looking to win a state championship this year.
Bayfield’s Shane Moore says the Wolverines’ middle weight classes have improved significantly. He is ready to compete at the state tournament after missing out by one point last season.
Todd McMenimen of Bayfield High School believes that the Wolverines can send as many as eight wrestlers to the Pepsi Center for the CHSAA Class 3A state championships in February.
