City councilor given OK to discuss Durango Mesa Park development

The Durango Mesa Park Foundation, which owns the 1,850 acres of property on Ewing Mesa, is scheduled to meet Feb. 11 with Durango City Council. City Councilor Kim Baxter sought an advisory opinion from the Durango Board of Ethics about her role on City Council and being able to make decisions about Durango Mesa Park given her husband’s role as a board member for the Durango Mesa Park Foundation.
