Members of the local Medical Reserve Corps take inventory of supplies delivered to an undisclosed location in La Plata County on Friday. The medical supplies, which came from the strategic national stockpile, are used to treat various strains of flu. The stockpile is operated jointly by the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention and the Homeland Security Department. Supplies will be distributed under secure conditions to five counties and two Native American tribes in Southwest Colorado, said Dan Bender with the La Plata County Sheriff’s Office. Delivered around 5 a.m.
