Montezuma-Cortez High to perform ‘Fiddler on the Roof’

‘Bittersweet’ musical will run for two weekends
Landin Taylor is Tevye in Montezuma-Cortez High School’s production of “Fiddler on the Roof.” Davian Robinson, on the roof, is the title character.
The musical follows the tale of Tevye the Jewish milkman as he navigates a changing world in his Russian village of Anatevka.
A big part of the musical’s plot focuses on Tevye’s daughters as they seek love and marriage, oftentimes in defiance of tradition and custom.
The pit orchestra includes both students and community members, with musical director Marla Sitton conducting.
“Fiddler on the Roof” opens March 13 and will run for two weekends.
