Congratulations to J. Paul Brown for solidifying his position as a condescending good ol’ boy who will defend the Scott Tipton status quo while weakly attacking Lauren Boebert with sexist comments (letters, “Tipton doesn’t need a gun to slay leftists,“ March 5.
Of more consequence to voters is Brown’s indefensible promotion of Tipton as someone with a voting record that stands up to Nancy Pelosi.
Tipton’s voting record is quite the opposite. Here are just two of many examples:
This past fall, Tipton voted alongside Pelosi to grant millions amnesty while handing over a billion dollars of our tax dollars. When Pelosi recently threw in billions of pork on top of President Trump’s request for coronavirus protection, it was Colorado’s Rep. Ken Buck who voted to stop the pork, not Scott Tipton.
It’s no wonder Conservative Review gave Congressman Tipton an “F” lifetime rating and Freedom Works gives him a “D.”
I’ll be placing my conservative vote on Lauren Boebert, who has proven she is a fearless defender of freedom.
