As the Strater Hotel reopens its restaurants and bars, the iconic hotel welcomes John Sheehan as new director of food and beverage.
Accompanying the opening of table service is the introduction of all new menus created and orchestrated by the hotel’s new Director of Food and Beverage John Sheehan. Sheehan joined the Strater after 15 years as the owner and executive chef of Durango’s Red Snapper Restaurant.
The Strater has created a branded Strater Cares health and safety program, providing guests a central resource outlining measures put in place to protect them as well as the staff.
As a founding member of Historic Hotels of America, The Strater Hotel has operated for over 133 years through great times and tough times in its shared history with Durango.
