Kling goes undrafted; supplemental draft next

Fabian Kling, one of the greatest players in Fort Lewis College men’s soccer history, was not drafted in the Major League Soccer SuperDraft on Thursday in Kansas City.
Kling, the Division II Player of the Year, anchored the Skyhawks’ defense for four years and captained the soccer powerhouse to two national championships.
The 6-3, 195-pound center back from Augsburg, Germany, still has a chance to be drafted in the MLS supplemental draft Tuesday, which will be held via conference call. The SuperDraft is two rounds; the supplemental draft is four rounds.
