Velorution Cycles announces its name change.
Formerly Papa Wheelies, the bicycle shop is located at 1077 Main Ave. Joey Ernst, a USA Cycling National Team Mechanic, owns the business. The shop specializes in bicycles such as utility, bike-packing and touring.
The business is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

KDUR radio station announces new hire
Fort Lewis College and KDUR-FM (91.9, 93.9) announce that Rachel Perrault has joined the radio station as development director.
Perrault graduated from FLC in 2008 with a degree in English communications and a minor in marketing. Perrault began her radio career in Tulsa, Okla., in 1998, managing programming for six Clear Channel Stations.

Senior job training program reopens
Service Employment Redevelopment Jobs For Progress, a paid job-training program for seniors 55 and older, is accepting applications for new enrollments.
SER partners with community organizations to create paid job-training opportunities for unemployed, low income seniors who want to re-enter the workforce.
SER is a training and employment-services program funded in part by the U.S. Department of Labor.SER also is seeking nonprofit organizations interested in partnering with the program. These organizations would receive free help in exchange for assisting a senior to gain work skills.
