Cocoa goes retro

Annual Chocolate Fantasia event raises funds for local charities

Servings: Makes 2½ dozen cookies


1 stick of butter melted
1 cup crushed graham cracker crumbs
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup butterscotch chips
½ cup white chocolate chips
½ cup crushed candy-coated milk chocolate pieces
1 cup shredded coconut
14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
½ cup chopped pecans
½ cup chopped walnuts


Preheat oven to 350 F.
Spray 9-by-13-inch baking pan lightly with non-stick cooking spray.
Melt butter and pour intopan. Tilt pan to coat bottom evenly.
Sprinkle with crushed graham cracker crumbs.
Sprinkle chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, candy-coated chocolatepieces and white chocolate chips over graham cracker crumbs.Top with shredded coconut.
Drizzle evenly with sweetened condensed milk.
End with chopped pecans and chopped walnuts sprinkled over the top.
Bake 20-25 minutes, until lightly brown around the edges.
