Mountain View begins Sunday evening service
Mountain View Community Church has begun 5 p.m. Sunday services at its location, 377 County Road 122 behind Fort Lewis Mesa Elementary School.
Pastor Terry Willis of Calvary Chapel-Durango will lead the service aimed at teaching the Bible verse by verse. The church is nondenominational.

St. Pauls hosting Family Sunday School
St. Pauls Lutheran Church, 2611 Junction St., will hold its monthly Family Sunday School from 9 to 10 a.m. Sunday.
Activities include Bible stories, songs, games and crafts for ages 3 and older. Parents are encouraged to attend with their children.
Purim festival, carnival to be held
A Purim Festival Family Carnival and Celebration will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. March 4 at the Congregation Har Shalom, 2537 County Road 203.
Carnival games and prizes will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. A potluck dinner will take place from 5 to 6 p.m. From 6:30 to 7 p.m. there will be a Megilla reading. Children are invited to come dressed in costume. Participants are asked to bring a salad if their last name starts with A-K; L-S should bring an entree; and T-Z a dessert.
