I wonder why Corey Hopkins is singling out Durango in a West Slope boycott (Jan. 12, “Reader will boycott Durango as long as Boebert’s in office”).
La Plata County and Durango, like most of the resort areas in the district, did not support Boebert in the election. Therefore, I would think Hopkins will not be traveling west of Denver, since Boebert represents Summit County, Pitkin County, Eagle County, Route County, San Miguel County, etc.
Boebert’s election was a result of a strong showing in Mesa County, Pueblo County, and several other rural/agricultural counties.
