Deadline is Thursday for local white pages
People who want to be added to the Directory Plus 2012-13 edition of the white pages phone book, or who want to make changes to their listing, must do so by Thursday.
Directory Plus will include individuals’ cellphone number. Small-business owners who have a land line and a cellphone can list both numbers for free.

Mumbling Marmot adds new tutor
Lynn Lehman has joined Mumbling Marmot Tutoring LLC, specializing in K-5 creative science and math enrichment, whole-language reading and writing using children’s novels and books. He also offers homework support with cognitive and study skills and spoken Arabic. Lehman has 30 years teaching experience.

Habitat for Humanity searching for director
Habitat for Humanity of La Plata County will shortly begin building its 35th and 36th homes in Bayfield at Fox Farm Village.
In addition, Executive Director Barbara Blundell has left the organization to pursue other interests.
In the interim, board President Richard Kolb will assume daily operation responsibilities. The board of directors has begun a search for a new full-time executive director.
Habitat for Humanity of La Plata County offices are located at 120E Girard St., along with its ReStore facility.
First National Bank adds employee to team
The First National Bank of Durango announces the addition of Ashley Jaramillo.
Jaramillo started with First National on March 26 as the newest Main Office customer-service representative. She is from Durango and has an associate’s degree in criminal justice.
