Local team to ride in Courage Classic
Local residents will ride on the Durango Derailers Team in the Courage Classic, an annual cycling event that will take place July 21-23 to raise money for Childrens Hospital Colorado.
Money raised through the Courage Classic will help Childrens Colorado achieve its mission to improve the health of children with coordinated programs of patient care, education, research and advocacy.
Team Durango Derailers is entering its fifth year. The team has grown from 12 riders to more than 80 riders. The teams goal is to raise $50,000 that can be used to set up a patient assistance account that Durango families can use for traveling expenses when they need to go to Childrens Hospital Colorado for specialty care.
