“Documerica” photographer Lyntha Scott Eiler was among nearly 100 photographers the newly established Environmental Protection Agency sent out across the country 40 years ago to capture images of environmental concern at the dawn of environmental regulation. Among locations Eiler photographed was the Navajo Generating Station in Arizona. Here she walks in November 1972 in the Monument Valley on the Navajo Reservation.
