Apartment fire temporarily closes 2 blocks on Main Ave.

Firefighters with the Durango Fire & Rescue Authority used a fan to clear smoke Monday from a fire at an apartment on Main Avenue. The fire closed Main Avenue from Ninth Street to 11th Street from 4 to 5:20 p.m. as firefighters battled the small fire and cleaned up. No one was injured in the fire.
