Abel is taking summer classes at Fort Lewis College this summer to finish her psychology degree before moving back home to Moraga, Calif.
She is looking for an internship there before going to graduate school.
As of now, I just want to relax and not worry about school, she said. Its a really good feeling knowing Ive come this far.
Her long-term goal is to open a private family therapy practice.
Business administration finance major Morris is looking in the Denver area for jobs. He said he hasnt received any offers, but he has interviews lined up in financial analytics.
The FLC basketball center earned all-tournament team honors at this years Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Tournament but doesnt plan on continuing with the sport.
My immediate plans are to head to the Denver area, he said. Its just where the jobs are.
Morris said he ultimately would like to get a masters degree, work his way into a chief financial officer position and possibly be a CEO.
Williams said he recently started the job search and has applied for some positions, but he hasnt found anything yet.
Im looking forward to (graduation), but Im kind of scared, too, because the job market isnt that great, and the market is pretty saturated with college graduates.
The business administration management major said he is keeping his options open, but hed like to stay in the Durango area.
Varnes is moving back to his hometown of Boulder this summer to take LSAT courses before the admissions test in October.
The anthropology major hasnt decided on a law school yet, but said he is looking for one with an international focus.
Varnes studied abroad while at FLC and participated in the Semester at Sea program, visiting 12 countries.
The FLC soccer goalie has sent his résumé to a sports agent in Switzerland and is hoping to set up a trial to get on the team.
Wirth, a business administration management major, helped lead the mens soccer team to the 2011 national championship.
Wirth was born in Switzerland and has dual citizenship, so he hopes itll be easier for him to get on a team because he wouldnt be taking one of the few spots open for foreign players.
If he doesnt get on a team, Wirth said he will either move to Arizona to try and start a business with a friend or join the Peace Corps.
