Dusty Mangus goes up, up and over 13 feet and into second place at the state meet. “I had too many attempts at the lower heights,” said Mangus, who sailed cleanly over the bar at 12-6 and again at 13 feet, good for runner-up and a spot on a college roster.

For that, he credited coach Luke Harrington.
