Andy Roddick lost 6-3, 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 to 88th-ranked Nicolas Mahut on Sunday at the French Open, dropping his record to 7-10 this season, 0-4 on clay. He’s now lost in the first round of the French Open five times.
“Wasn’t playing really well,” Andy Roddick said. “I move just horrendously out here. My first step is just so bad on this stuff. I feel like I’m always shuffling or hopping or not stopping or something.”
