Headin' down the valley

Runners head south on East Animas Road (County Road 250) shortly after the start of Saturday’s Steamworks Animas Valley Half-Marathon, sponsored by Durango Motorless Transit. A record (and capacity) field of 300 runners participated. Fort Lewis College’s Logan Ott, from Mancos, won the men’s overall division.  Lindsay Neiman of Durango won the women’s division.
