Megan Grahams column (Herald, Aug. 12) once again shows the total disengagement of rational thinking from the abortion crowd.
A more perfect definition of hypocrisy could not be found than the one I ran across a few weeks ago: Demanding that the government stay out of your bedroom and your womb while simultaneously demanding that they pay for your birth control and your abortions.
Graham states: Your religious freedom ends where my skin begins. That works both ways.
Her right (still looking for that so-called right to kill the unborn in the Constitution ... gee, doesnt it even say the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness) applies to the unborn as well.
She complains that religious people have no right to tell her what to do when she is not only doing that very thing, she is demanding that they pay for it, too.
The abortion crowd has truly taken hypocrisy to a new level. Abortion is not health care.
I hate to infringe on her alleged rights, but darned if there isnt a way to keep from getting pregnant. It costs absolutely nothing and no one dies. Wow, what a radical concept. Its called personal responsibility.
