I see by Chuck Snyder's opinion (Letters, Herald, June 23) that this country is being run into the ground.
He cites the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan as taking "billions of borrowed dollars." Perhaps he should go back in time a few years and determine just who it was that started these wars - considered illegal by many.
While he's there, maybe he should take a good hard look at the government that he evidently voted for and tally up just how much time, effort, money and lives have been wasted by that particular regime. If he still has a cause to complain about the massive cleanup we need to do and the person we elected to do that cleanup, Snyder should bring some facts with him, instead of empty rhetoric.
