First-year head coach Thaddeus Cano directed Ignacio’s dramatic 3-2 comeback victory over Kirtland Central on Thursday night at the Ignacio High School gym. “We’ve worked on the mental game,” he said.
Ignacio libero Angela Herrera had a busy match in the middle of the Bobcats’ defense. “We just needed to stay positive and believe in oursleves,” Herrera said. It worked. They won in five.
