Durango volleyball: Rise and shine

Durango libero Kennedy Clark led the team with 12 digs as the Demons rolled past Grand Junction 3-0 on Saturday at DHS. The Demons’ service game was on point Saturday, tallying seven service aces and rattling the Tigers into several errors.
Jessie Brammer was one of four outside hitters for the Durango Demons to record a kill in Saturday’s win over Grand Junction. McKenna Franzen led the team with 12 kills in its straight-sets victory.
Kennedy Clark and the Demons brought plenty of energy into their early Saturday afternoon match at Durango High School, jumping on Grand Junction early en route to the Demons’ 14th consecutive Southwestern League victory. DHS won in straight sets – 25-17, 25-9, 25-13.
