DHS volleyball terrorizing SWL

Durango on 17-match league win streak heading into Cortez matchup
Jessie Brammer and Durango volleyball haven’t lost a Southwestern League match at the varsity level since 2010. In that span, the Demons have lost just six total games in 17 matches, sweeping 13 matches.
DHS Pink Digs tonight

The 2012 Durango High School edition of Pink Digs for a Cure, benefitting the Women’s Health Coalition of Southwest Colorado, will take place at tonight’s match between Montezuma-Cortez and Durango, with several events leading into the 7 p.m. match.

The event’s gift shop is set to open at 4 p.m. and will sell a variety of pink items and apparel to benefit the WHC Emergency Scholarship fund.

The C-Team match and junior varsity match are scheduled to begin at 4:30 and 5:30 p.m., respectively, followed by a special presentation of the All-Star Survivor Team. The varsity match will begin immediately after.

The final area Pink Digs event is set for Oct. 27 when Fort Lewis College hosts conference foe Adams State.
