Merkel finds hostile crowds on Greek visit

Two men dressed as German World War II soldiers sit in an open vehicle during a protest against the visit of German Chancellor Angela Merkel. The protest attracted about 50,000 people in Athens on Tuesday. Merkel’s visit was her first since the eurozone crisis began here three years ago. More than 7,000 police cordoned off parks and other sections of central Athens, to keep demonstrators away from the German leader.
