Think Network announces new hire
Think Network Technologies, a network integrator for computer systems in the Four Corners, announces the hiring of Dale Robinson as project manager.
Robinson joins Think Network with more than 15 years of relevant experience, most recently in the information technology department at Fort Lewis College. There, Robinson covered a broad range of tasks and collaborated in all areas of technology, including providing enterprise-level technical support for more than 1,500 machines, diagnosing and troubleshooting networking issues and training.

Lunch & Learn topic: Marketing in Durango
The Durango Chamber of Commerces November Lunch & Learn titled Marketing Your Business in the Durango Market ... How to get Locals in the Door! will take place at noon Nov. 14 at First National Bank of Durango, 259 W. Ninth St.

Export strategy workshop to be offered
The Small Business Development Center at Fort Lewis College is partnering with World Trade Center Denver to bring a Developing Your Export Strategy workshop to FLC.
The workshop will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 130 of the Education Business Hall.
Using a combination of lecture, discussion and small-group exercises, the workshop will focus on developing a strategic and tactical plan for entering new export markets, including selecting the right market for a product or service; determining how best to enter the market; where to make the contacts necessary to get there; and how to deal with the challenges to be faced by looking at the business side of foreign regulations, language and logistical barriers, and fending off the invitation to corruption.

Business consultations available for women
A representative from Southwest Colorado Small Business Development Center will offer free one-hour business consultations from noon to 4 p.m. Monday at the Womens Resource Center, 679 East Second Ave., Suite 6.
The consultations are for women who want to start or expand their business and already have a solid idea for a business plan.
