Since arriving in Durango two years ago George and Lori Ann have been working in a medical massage setting. Before their arrival, George maintained a private practice in Vermont for 18 years. Lori Ann transitioned from intercollegiate athletic training to massage therapy in 2000. Together, the pair has more than 40 years experience in health care.

The Durango Chamber of Commerce announces the addition of new chamber board members Kelly Hebbard and Joel Jones each serving a three-year term.

The Durango Business Improvement District is preparing for the eighth annual HOLiDAZZLE, the promotion designed to stimulate downtown shopping and attendance to events happening in and around Durango during the holidays.
Organizations and businesses planning special events between Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are asked to submit their event information to Pam Glasco at the BID office at firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday. Additionally, the BID will reprise the HOLiDAZZLE Merchant Gift Drawing and prepare promotional materials in support of the effort.
Merchants who will supply an in-store opportunity drawing during HOLiDAZZLE also are asked to inform Glasco.

Angel Fire to host job fair Saturday
Angel Fire Resort in New Mexico will host a job fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at The Lodge, 10 Miller Lane, Angel Fire, N.M.
The resort is hiring full- and part-time positions for the 2012-13 winter season. Positions will start in December and run through March. Positions available include: lift operations, reservations/sales, ski and snowboard school, food and beverage, housekeeping, retail, rental shop and ski patrol.

Discussion on oxygen therapy set to be held

John Tolbert joins Wells Group
John Tolbert recently joined The Wells Group of Durango.
Tolbert graduated from Spring Hill College with a degree in business. After college, he entered Air Force pilot training serving nine years active and reserve as an A-10 pilot. He joined American Airlines. After retiring from the airlines, he moved to Durango to pursue the recreational opportunities this area offers.
