Jon Bailey, a local who helped start Bicycle Lemonade, said the group opened its doors to the public during the weekend to give people a chance to sort through its large collection of spare parts and build and refurbish their own bikes. “We’re educating and keeping the bikes out of the landfill,” Bailey said of the six-year effort to refurbish bicycles for use.
