Rebellious teens’ smoke hole may fall victim to new city ordinance
It’s been named Cancer Hill for at least a decade. It’s a close off-campus spot where many Durango High School students – including Jason Pegel, 18, who just got out of class – go for a smoke. Pegel said he started smoking in the seventh grade with influences from friends and family.
