DHS volleyball sweeps yet another awards season

Bulen is SWL Player of the Year; Demons land three on first team
Robin Oliger led Durango to its third consecutive state volleyball tournament and earned her third Southwestern League Coach of the Year award in a row as well, sharing the honor with bob Richardson of Fruita Monument.
Durango setter Natalie Bulen averaged nearly 10 assists per set and had 704 total to follow two-time winner Sloan Lovett as Durango’s third Southwestern League Player of the Year in a row.
McKenna Franzen averaged a league-leading 4.7 kills per set to earn an All-Southwestern League first-team selection after finishing on the second team as a junior.
