Durango High School sophomore Hunter Hall led 11-3 when he pinned Danny Trujillo of Bloomfield in the third period of their Thursday night match at DHS. “We needed to get pins,” Hall said.
Clay Dillon of Durango didn’t waste any time in his match against Jonathan Begay of Bloomfield on Thursday night. Dillon, unbeaten thus far this season, pinned Begay in 53 seconds.
Troy Rightmire, a state qualifier in New Mexico last year for Bloomfield, gave Dillon Anthony a facial and a pinfall in their match at 132 pounds Thursday night at Durango High School.
Garrett Marcum of Durango and Alex Portillo of Bloomfield wrestled into overtime Thursday night before Portillo won 7-5 with a takedown. Bloomfield won the dual 42-36.
